Last week China Mobile announced the official launch of 5G-Advanced (aka 5.5G/5GA) on its network. 5.5G is the next step in mobile connectivity and promises improvements to speed, latency, and stability over regular 5G. Oppo quickly announced its plans to bring 5G-Advanced to its Find X7 series and now fellow BBK Group member vivo is also set to join the ranks. vivo X Fold3, X Fold 3 Pro and the X100 series will be among the first devices to get 5.5G later this month with an OTA update.
